East Salem Seventh-day Adventist Church ("we," "us," "the church") operates an SMS/MMS announcement program. By texting a keyword (such as JOIN or a ministry-specific keyword like ACTS) to our published number, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and to our SMS Privacy Policy.
You must be the account holder for the mobile number you use to opt in, or have that person's permission, and be legally able to enter into these terms.
Texting a keyword to our number is an affirmative request to join that specific list — it is not automatic, and it does not enroll you in any other list. Consent is never a condition of any purchase, donation, or other transaction; the program is free to join.
Message frequency varies by list and is driven by ministry/announcement activity — there is no fixed schedule.
Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. We do not charge for these text messages ourselves.
Reply STOP (or STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT) to unsubscribe from everything, or STOP followed by a list's keyword (e.g. STOP ACTS) to leave just that one list. See the SMS Privacy Policy for full details on how opt-out and re-opt-in work.

This program is provided on an "as is" basis. We do not guarantee that any message will be delivered, or delivered on time — carrier networks, device settings, and factors outside our control can delay or block delivery. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the church is not liable for any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, this SMS program.
We may update these terms from time to time; the current version will always be posted at this page. Continuing to receive messages after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to conflict of law principles.
